Originally from Baton Rouge, Morgan and her husband made the move to Houston in 2017. Morgan studied political science at Rhodes College in Memphis, and started her career as a field organizer on various local and Congressional campaigns. While Morgan is still passionate about volunteering for political campaigns in her spare time, she decided it wasn’t her long-term career goal and transitioned to the hospitality industry in 2012. She joined Underbelly Hospitality in 2018 and was a part of the UB Preserv opening team, where she served as lead bartender and shift supervisor. In 2021, Morgan was promoted to manager at Hay Merchant in June 2021, and in 2022, opened Wild Oats as operations manager.
